Food safety and quality policy

The Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Culture Policy of VITAE SLOW DRINKS, S.L. is aimed at achieving the satisfaction of customers and the people who are part of the company.

This policy is defined, promoted and led by Management, which assumes the commitment to develop and implement it, update it periodically, and promote, monitor and measure its compliance to demonstrate the continuous improvement of its processes.

At the core of this policy is the promotion of continuous improvement, which is the basis for defining objectives through the following criteria:

• Carry out the preparation and packaging of KOMBUCHA with a DEMANDING DEGREE OF QUALITY, which satisfies our clients and differentiates us from our competitors, with the permanent interest of evolving towards the continuous improvement of our processes.
• Management’s commitment to comply with applicable legal requirements and other product requirements (food safety, quality, environment, sustainability, etc.) to prevent pollution and to act against activities that promote climate change.
• The Quality and Food Safety Policy constitutes the basis on which the organization establishes its objectives and goals. This is communicated to ALL workers, regardless of their workplace, to achieve awareness and responsibility in the Food Safety Culture.
• Continuously improve the EFFECTIVENESS of our service, obtaining the greatest performance from the capacity, experience and training of our workers.
• Achieve THE ELIMINATION OF ERRORS IN THE PRODUCTION PROCESS, developing an effective process for controlling non-conformities, when they appear, that prevents their transfer to the client and that measures its own performance.
• Complying with legal, regulatory and any other requirements agreed with our clients. Focus all production from the point of view of food safety, increasing technological measures and advances that appear on the market.
• Adoption of measures to reduce environmental impacts and promote sustainability as a result of our own activities and those of our suppliers and subcontractors, guaranteeing environmental safety by maintaining good environmental conditions in our facilities and through appropriate waste management, identifying and evaluating potential environmental risks that may directly or indirectly affect the organization.
• Updating and updating personal skills and their optimal adaptation to functions through human resources management that promotes training, feedback on issues related to food safety among employees, ethics and continuous evaluation, thus promoting a culture of Food Safety.
• Evaluation and selection of the best suppliers and raw materials to guarantee the highest quality in the product as well as to guarantee AUTHENTICITY with the aim of eliminating any possibility of fraud.
• Preventive approach in the development of internal audits of all key, strategic and support processes.
• Comprehensive measurement of customer satisfaction.
• The MANAGER assumes, as an obligation inherent to his responsibilities, the commitment to exercise leadership in the implementation and application of conduct in accordance with the Integrated Food Quality and Safety System of VITAE SLOW DRINKS, S.L., acting as a promoter, guide and example in the fulfillment of an obligation that concerns those of us who form our company and communicating

This Food Quality and Safety Policy must be known and applied by all people in the company, for which it will be fully and effectively disseminated. It will be developed through a documented system and made available to all those affected and interested.
